The Representative Church Body (RCB), the trustee body for the Church of Ireland, is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Manager.

Reporting to the Chief Officer, the role will have responsibility for internal RCB HR requirements including developing an HR operational plan, providing operational support in areas including talent development, recruitment and employee engagement, and providing support to management. The role will also provide support and advice in relation to diocesan and parish people management in the wider Church.

Based in the RCB’s offices in Rathmines, Dublin, this full time, permanent post will provide a great opportunity to make an impact across a complex and diverse organisation.

Belfast Cathedral is seeking to appoint a Visitor Welcome Assistant to join its team welcoming visitors from Belfast and further afield.

Over the past few years, St Anne’s Cathedral has gained a growing reputation as a major tourist attraction in the City of Belfast. This post offers the opportunity to get involved in an exciting and expanding team, and support the Cathedral as it opens its doors to visitors both local and from around the world.

The role will require flexible working on a rotational basis between 9am and 5pm.

The Parish of St John, Whitehouse, & St Ninian – Director of Music (Organist and Choir Master)

Whitehouse Parish is a union of St Ninian’s & St John’s. We are recruiting for a Director of Music for our church. We are primarily a traditional Church of Ireland and music is an integral part of the liturgical action.

Our Services are as follows:

  • Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each Month Morning Prayer on the second and third Sundays Family Service on the fourth Sunday.
  • The usual occasional evening services, with possible negotiation for the reintroduction of monthly Choral Evensong.

There is a robed choir and practices are currently on Wednesday evenings.

Because of the importance music plays in our worship we are looking for someone who can commit to training the choir and continuing the musical tradition of our parish.
