Belfast Cathedral this weekend welcomes London-based choir Vivamus for Choral Evensong at 5.30pm on Friday August 17 and Saturday August 18, and at Sunday services at 11am and 3.30pm

Vivamus is a small chamber choir whose members are predominantly post-graduate students and young professionals. The choir enjoys singing a diverse and challenging range of repertoire from well-known classics to new works by living composers.

The choir rehearses weekly and aims to perform at least four times a year at venues in and around central London, as well as a long weekend at a UK cathedral most summers.

Recently, Vivamus has performed a number of sell-out concerts in St Martin-in-the-Fields, sung the services at Lincoln Cathedral and frequently performs at St James’, Piccadilly. The choir has also sung in St John’s, Smith Square with The London Mozart Players and with Emma Johnson.

Everyone is welcome at any of these services to enjoy the music of Vivamus.
