‘Light of Christ in the community’ at Broughshane
Celebrations of St Patrick’s, Broughshane’s, 250th anniversary draw to a close on December 6 with ‘The Light of Christ in the community.’
The evening will feature a short service in the church after which the children of the parish will lead everyone down to the car park where they will light 250 lanterns in the shape of a cross.
The service begins at 5pm and the lighting of the lanterns gets underway at 5.30pm. The event will support the charities Lighthouse and MacMillan.
