Joel Edwards to speak in Lisburn
The General Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance, Joel Edwards, will be guest speaker at a special evening in Christ Church, Lisburn, this month.
Joe will address the topic ‘Truly Gracious – is the Church good news for our community?’
The event has been organised by Lisburn City Centre Ministers Fellowship and will be hosted by Steve Cave who is the Northern Ireland Director of the Evangelical Alliance.
Joel Edwards was a probation officer for 14 years and the senior pastor of a local church for 10 years before becoming the first black general director of the evangelical alliance in 1997. He serves on a number of faith, government and public agency advisory bodies.
The evening of praise and worship will involve members of Lisburn City Centre Churches, and begins at 7pm on Sunday March 18.
