Celebrating Burn’s Night in style!
The Rev Stephen Fielding, rector of the united parishes of Templepatrick and Donegore, experienced his first Burn’s Night celebrations – and his first taste of true Haggis – over the weekend of February 9-11.
Rev Fielding visited Templepatrick and Donegore’s link parish of St Mary's, Dalmahoy, in Edinburgh.
Amongst other things, the weekend took in a Burn's Night supper and the Sunday Eucharist at which Rev Fielding preached and a Celtic cross fashioned from turf was presented to St Mary's from Templepatrick and Donegore.
Rev Fielding received a warm welcome from the Rev'd Deryck Collingwood, rector of St Mary’s, and his wife Christine.
