Staff enjoy a trip to Hillsborough Castle

Wednesday April 25th 2007

Church of Ireland House staff on the steps of Hillsborough Castle.Staff at Church of Ireland House in Belfast had a day out with a difference on Friday April 20.

They visited Hillsborough Castle as the guests of the Rev John Dinnen, rector of Hillsborough Parish, who organised the day as a thank you to the staff for looking after him and his colleagues.

The visitors enjoyed afternoon tea and a tour of the House, during which their guide, Mr David Anderson, related some entertaining stories of guests and happenings in the house.

Afterwards the guests spent some time in the castle’s beautiful gardens.  Everyone enjoyed the afternoon and Rev Dinnen’s kindness in making it all possible was much appreciated.
