Connor Connections among the winners
Connor Connections, the magazine for the Diocese of Connor, was voted runner-up in the Diocesan Magazine Category in the Church of Ireland Magazine and Website competition.
The results were announced at the General Synod at the Lyrath Estate Hotel, Kilkenny, on Thursday May 10.
Winner in the category was N:Vision, the magazine for the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe.
Magheragall Parish in Connor won the Best Parish Magazine category, and the Diocese of Down and Dromore won the best diocesan website.
The awards were presented by the Archbishop of Armagh, the Most Revd Alan Harper, who said: “In congratulating the winners, I am also delighted to acknowledge the hard work of all those who contribute, mostly in a voluntary capacity, to communicating the message of the Church.”
The Ven Stephen McBride, Archdeacon of Connor and chair of the Connor Communications Committee, received the award for Connor Connections from the Archbishop.
