Bishop drops into Youth Council BBQ
More than 250 young people and leaders attended a barbeque hosted by the new Bishop of Connor at the annual Summer Madness festival on July 1.
Two days after his consecration the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy joined in the fun at the King’s Hall and met some of the young people from Connor Diocese.
The event was run by Connor Diocesan Youth Council and the cooks at the barbeque were the Rev Mark Taylor, Whitehead, and Alan Ross, youth worker at St Patrick's, Ballymena.
