Cologne New Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra will perform in concert at St Mark’s Parish Church, Ballymacash Road, Lisburn, on Tuesday August 7 at 8pm.
The orchestra, with Susanna Gregorian on violin and Gemma Corales on flute, will play music by Vivaldi, Mozart and Tchaikovski.
Since its foundation in 1972 Cologne New Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra has comprised players from over 50 nations. It aims to inspire people who may not necessarily have come into contact with classical music before.
To achieve this, the orchestra has developed its own highly individual style of interpretation – engaging and direct while still remaining true to the intentions of the composer.
Tickets are available at the church from 7pm on the night of the concert. There are concessions for seniors and students; and admission for children is free.
