Enjoying coffee during the Bishop of Connor's Quiet Day.There was an excellent turnout of clergy for the Bishop of Connor’s Quiet Day which took place on Thursday September 27 in Antrim Parish Halls.

The day began with a welcome from the Bishop, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, and a service of Morning Liturgy led by Archdeacon Stephen McBride, vicar of Antrim.

The Bishop spoke of the importance of Spirituality and the need to take time out for prayer and for silence, regardless of the demands of running a busy parish.

Clergy had the opportunity to raise issues that were of concern and interest to them, and the Bishop answered all questions.
