New banner for Billy MU
Billy Mothers’ Union unveiled a new banner at a service in Billy Parish Church on Sunday October 28.
The Banner was dedicated by the Rector, the Rev John Anderson. Mothers’ Union Diocesan President, Mrs Moira Thom, preached at the service and the area chairperson, Mrs Rena Lindsay, was also present.
The banner was designed and made by Mrs Cath Mitchell and Mrs Muriel Bell from St Swithin’s Parish, Magherafelt. As Billy is the parish of the Giant’s Causeway, the hexagonal Causeway stones feature on the banner.
