Youth workers from Connor Diocese enjoyed bangers and bacon with Bishop Alan Abernethy when he hosted a special breakfast on Monday December 3.
The breakfast, for around 15 youth workers employed across the diocese, took place in the Comfort Inn, Antrim.
Diocesan Training Co-ordinator, Peter Hamill, who organised the event, said: “The aim of the breakfast was to bring together the employed youth workers of the diocese so they could share experiences. It was also a chance for the diocese to say thank you to the youth workers for all they do.”
Youth in Connor will be the focus of a special service to take place in St Brigid’s, Glengormley, in the spring.
The Celebration of Youth Service on April 6 is for all young people as well as volunteer and employed youth workers. Speaker at this service will be the Bishop of Connor.
