1st Larne BB raise funds for Yei school
Boys from 1st Larne Boys Brigade Company raised £100 towards Connor Diocese’s Yei School Project with a pre-Christmas Postman Pat card delivery service.
The boys, from 1st Larne Presbyterian Church, Larne Methodist Church and St Cedma's Parish, delivered hundreds of Christmas cards to households in Larne, including more than 650 from St Cedma's parish to all the parishioners.
A cheque for £100 was presented to Archdeacon Stephen Forde, rector of St Cedma’s, by Niall Williamson of 1st Larne BB. It will be put towards Connor Council for Mission’s project to build a new school in the village of Mongo, in Connor’s link diocese of Yei, southern Sudan.
