Five new priests ordained in Connor Diocese

Five new priests were ordained in Connor Diocese at a service held in St James’ Parish Church, Belfast, on Monday June 9.

The St Columba’s Day Ordination was conducted by the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, Bishop of Connor.

The five candidates were the Rev Barry Forde for the curacy of Coleraine; the Rev Campbell Dixon in the Non-Stipendiary Ministry for the curacy of Jordanstown; the Rev John McClure in the Non-Stipendiary Ministry for the curacy of Skerry, Rathcavan and Newtowncrommelin; the Rev Kenneth Gamble in the Non-Stipendiary Ministry for the curacy of Ballymacash and the Rev Mark Reid in the Non Stipendiary Ministry for the curacy of Glenavy.
