Holy Trinity Woodburn, is organising an event-centred summer outreach for young people of secondary school age.
The iChoose week will be based around the “ipod generation” idea. Lisa McIlwaine, project manager of the venture, said: “In a world where there is more freedom to choose than ever before, we decided to focus on freedom and choice.”
Events get underway on Sunday July 13 at 7pm, and include activities to encourage young people to come to church, share with one another, and learn and experience God.
Speaker at iChoose is Andrew Hanley, a well-known local young businessman, who has been involved in faith-based children’s and youth work and is now an active member of the congregation at Holy Trinity.
Later in the school holidays, Holy Trinity is organising a sports-themed Holiday Bible club for primary aged children with places for up to 80 children. Download details here.
