Parish Picnic at St Nicholas, Belfast
St Nicholas Parish Church, Lisburn Road, Belfast, has hosted its first annual parish picnic.
The event took place on Sunday June 22, and despite the heavy rain a large number of parishioners and all the young people gathered with picnics in the John Mercer Halls.
The bouncy Jungle Slide took centre stage as the youth worker, Gary Brown, supervised both children and adults. Gary was earlier preacher at All Age Worship when prizes were presented to all the young folk.
Rector the Rev Liz Hanna said: “This event gave parishioners a chance to chat and play, and it rounded off the Sunday School year with the whole church in celebration together.”
