‘Live Issue’ perform in support of St Pauls’ projects

Local Gospel band ‘Live Issue’ who will play at St Paul’s, Lisburn.The Rev James Carson, rector of St Paul’s, Lisburn, has announced plans for a series of events over the next two years designed to continue spiritual renewal in the parish.

The events will focus on the theme ‘Forward together in Faith and Mission 2008-2010 at home and abroad.’

There are three parts to the series, firstly overseas mission in developing a link with Kajiado Diocese in Kenya were CMS mission partner Ronnie Briggs and his wife Maggie work.  The couple will return to Kenya in May. 

Secondly mission at home with a planned mission in the parish in 2010.  The third focus of the initiative is to develop faith and fellowship within St Paul’s parish through local events and weekends away.

In seeking to support their Kenya project practically the parish has organised a concert in St Paul’s on Saturday October 18 at 7.30pm featuring Live Issue supported by St Paul’s praise group.  This will be a wonderful evening giving people an opportunity to praise and worship God and also support the work of God aboard.
