Packing the shoeboxes for Christmas.Members of the Mothers’ Union at St Nicholas’s Parish Church, Belfast, have Christmas very much in their sights already.

They have been busy packing shoeboxes of gifts for their annual Christmas Appeal. With the assistance of the youth club and other parishioners they packed a total of 48 shoe boxes, and the activity was a time of great fun and fellowship for all.

MU enrolling member Pauline discusses the shoebox appeal with youth worker Gary Brown.Youth Worker Gary Brown recently organised a visit to the parish by Strong Words, a group of weightlifters with a Christian message.  Everyone in the parish was invited and needless to say Gary was one of those enlisted to have a go at the hammer challenge.

Gary tries his hand at the hammer during the Strong Words' visit.
