Gene Stoltzfus, Director Emeritus of Christian Peacemaker Teams, will deliver a public talk on Iraq in Belfast on January 25.
His talk is entitled ‘Peacemakers in the Midst of War: Iraq’ and is hosted by the Irish School of Ecumenics in partnership with the Ballynafeigh Clergy Fellowship. It is part of the speaking tour series: ‘Vietnam to Iraq: Forty Years of Peacemaking’ organised by Christian Peacemaker Teams.
The talk will be held from 8.15-9.30pm in Cordner Hall, Cooke Centenary Church, 15 Park Road, just off the Ormeau Road, Belfast.
Gene Stoltzfus, pioneering Christian peace activist, organiser and director emeritus of Christian Peacemaker Teams, is touring the UK speaking to groups about nonviolent intervention in situations of conflict and injustice.
