St Patrick’s Ballymoney helps local charities

The Rev John Cunningham, rector of St Patrick's, handed over the cheque, part proceeds of a highly successful garden fete in the parish which raised a total of £6,000 for local charities.

The rector said: "I am well aware of the many people battling breathing problems and we are delighted to help Breathe Easy Causeway and other local charities."

Meanwhile a car boot sale and fundraiser is being held by the joint parishes of Ballymoney, Finvoy and Rasharkin on Saturday January 10 to raise funds for the church organ refurbishment.

The sale will be held in the Parish Center, Queen’s Street, Ballymoney. Cars and small vans are £5 and refreshments will be available.
