These seminars will be repeated in three venues across Connor diocese during February and March, concluding on April 1.

Seminar one will address the subject of Worship. The session will ask the following questions: What is worship? Why do we worship? What is Anglican worship? It will also look at different forms of worship.

Seminar two will deal with Suffering. Why is the question that haunts everyone. Bishop Alan says: “The great difficulty is that there appears to be no specific answer but there may be some signposts.”

Seminar one will take place on the following dates: February 24 – St Peter’s Parish Hall, Antrim Road, Belfast; March 4 – Antrim Parish Hall; March 9 – Dunluce Parish Centre, Bushmills.

Seminar two will be held on the following dates: March 18 – St Peter’s Parish Hall, Antrim Road, Belfast; March 24 – Antrim Parish Hall; April 1 – Dunluce Parish Centre, Bushmills.

Last year all Lenten Seminars were fully booked, with around 130 people attending each session at each venue. Demand for places is once again expected to be high, so please book early. There is no charge for the seminars but there will be a retiring collection towards the Diocesan Building for Generations Fund. A booking form is available here. Please print and return forms to Mrs Rosemary Patterson, Bishop’s Secretary, Church of Ireland House, 61-67 Donegall Street, Belfast, BT1 2QH.
