Melvin Tinker, Vicar of St John’s Parish Church in Hull, England, will lead a five night series of talks in Jordanstown and Whiteabbey during Holy Week.
An author and speaker who is very much in demand, Melvin has written a number of books including Why do bad things happen to good people? Close Encounters and Alien Nation.
He is a graduate of Science and Theology from the Universities of Keele and Oxford, and is married with three grown up sons.
Melvin will be addressing the topic The God Who Cares in St Patrick’s Church Halls, Jordanstown, on Monday April 6 and Tuesday April 7. He will continue his talks in Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church on April 8, 9 and 10. All talks begin at 7.45pm.
The series of talks is a joint venture for Holy Week by Whiteabbey Methodist Church, St Patrick’s Parish and SPACE, Jordanstown, and Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church.
