New website for Diocese of Yei
Connor’s link Diocese of Yei in Southern Sudan has launched a website.
It contains information about the activities of the Bishop of Yei, the Rt Rev Hilary Adebe Luate, news of events happening in the diocese, and has sections devoted to Mothers’ Union, education and healthcare
The website’s homepage describes Southern Sudan as sharing a border with Kajo-Keji, Mundri, Lainya and Lui.
It states: “The southern borders of Sudan are currently under attack from the notorious Lords Resistance Army and your prayers are asked for all those whose lives and livelihoods are under threat.”
The website will be a useful source of information for those people from Connor Diocese hoping to travel to Yei for a META trip later this year.
Visitors can also download a copy of the Yei Diocesan newsletter ‘Witness’ published for the first time during Lent 2009.
