Chancellor Stuart Lloyd presents Mr Harry Fisher with a painting of Slemish in appreciation for his 33 years service as Hon. Secretary to the Parish of Kilconriola and Ballyclug. Mr Harry Fisher has been honoured for his 33 years service as Honorary Sectary to the Parish of Kilconriola and Ballyclug.

At the Annual General Vestry Meeting on the rector, Canon Stuart Lloyd, presented Mr Fisher with a painting of Slemish in appreciation of his service over more than three decades.

Mr Fisher thanked Chancellor Lloyd for the very kind gift and said he would find a prominent place to hang the painting, adding that it would always remind him of the significance that Slemish and Saint Patrick played in the parish.

He went on to comment that he had served three rectors in 33  years – Chancellor Craig, Dean Rusk and for the past 20 years Chancellor Lloyd.  Mr Fisher said he felt very privileged to have been involved with the vestry and in particular the spiritual guidance he and his family had received from all three rectors. He paid tribute to the vestry men no longer with us whom he had befriended and who had influenced him during those years.
