100th birthday congratulations!
Congratulations to Miss Elizabeth Adams, a member of Portglenone Parish Church, who celebrated her 100th birthday recently.
The Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, accompanied by the Rev Mark Loney, rector of Portglenone and Ahoghill, paid a visit to Elizabeth at her home in Gortgole Fold.
They had an interesting chat about her working life as a care home manager in England for 23 years, apparently managing 100 residents!
Elizabeth said she is very appreciative of the care and support she receives from Gortgole Fold and from friends and family. Elizabeth continues to take a keen interest in the work of Portglenone Parish Church.
