Hundreds flock for an evening with Fusion

Thursday August 13th 2009

A group from Greenisland with youth leader Paul Browne all set for the evening at Fusion.Several hundred young people, youth leaders and clergy travelled to Lisburn for a rave on Sunday September 27!

They were responding to an invitation from the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, to an event which aimed to explore youth work'outside the box.'

Hosts for the evening were the leaders and young people from Fusion, a hugely successful youth outreach project run by Lisburn Cathedral.

It was an evening of (loud) music, dance, fun, fellowship, prayer, and, for the leaders and clergy, a chance to find out more about some of the larger youth project in the diocese from the leaders who run them, and to discuss the challengs facing youth leaders today.

Taking time out in the prayer room.A full report and more photos will follow soon.
