Creative Liturgy seminar for all involved in delivering worship

Creative Liturgy - resourcing inspired worshipThe Bishop of Connor is inviting anyone in the diocese involved in the delivery of worship to a seminar on Creative Liturgy – resourcing inspired worship.

The seminar will explore the principles of Anglican worship, focusing especially on the Service of the Word, emphasising the range of resources and flexibility of the service. 

Topics will include Liturgy and the bible; good practice; characteristics of worship; resourcing ‘Service of the Word’ and practical issues.

The seminar will take place as follows:

Thursday October 8 (7.30pm – 9.30pm) St Patrick’s Parish Church, Coleraine; Wednesday October 14 (7.30pm – 9.30pm) St Brigid’s Parish Church, Glengormley; Thursday  October 15 (10.30am – 12.30pm) St Patrick’s Parish Hall, Ballymena; Monday October 19 (7.30pm – 9.30pm) St Thomas’ Parish, Belfast.

The Bishop, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, is hoping clergy, diocesan readers, parish readers, musical directors, worship leaders, choir members, musicians, and anyone involved in delivery of worship will attend a seminar.
