The second of two teachings on the ‘Prayer of Surrender’ will take place in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, on Thursday October 8 at 8pm.
In this Brother David Jardine, director of Divine Healing Ministries will talk about learning how to give your difficulties to God, and allowing Him to carry them for you.
Brother Jardine believes that this is the most powerful prayer of all. Some of his teaching will be based on Psalm 55 v.22 – ‘Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous stumble.’
He says that when we release difficulties to the Lord we receive peace, and the Lord is given the freedom to work powerfully in those situations. But we don’t want to stop there. We need to move on to surrender every aspect of our lives to the Lord. When we give Him things that are going well, and allow Him to be in charge, He can make them even better. Learning how to practice the prayer of surrender can transform our Christian lives as well as our prayer lives.
There is no charge for this session but there will be an opportunity to purchase CDs on the theme of surrender and other aspects of prayer and healing. There will also be an opportunity to practice the teaching that has been given.
Everyone is welcome. Parking is available in the Cathedral car-park.
