Larne singing sensation Zolene and the Band are set to play their own special mixture of popular tunes from the 50s, 60s and through the decades at the St Patrick’s with All Saints’ Harvest Supper on October 12.
The band – made up of singer Zolene Mayberry, with her father Alan, brother Ziqh and backing singers – will perform hits from artists such as Christine Aguilera, Vera Lynn, Andrews Sisters, The Eagles, Bobby Darin, Michael Jackson, Duffy and many more.
During the interval those attending will enjoy a proper Harvest feast of sandwiches, traybakes, apple pie, tea and coffee. The event takes place on Monday October 12 at 7.30pm – tickets are £5 and are available on the door or by phoning 028 2827 3276. All proceeds will go towards parish funds.
The Rev Roger Thompson, Rector of the parish, said: “We’re very fortunate to have such a talented young group coming to our church, it’s going to add a real zing to our annual Harvest get-together. I hope there’ll be dancing in the aisles!”
