People from the Connor Diocese have been invited to hear South African farmer and preacher Angus Buchan talk at a series of special events in Co Tyrone.
The Maize ‘n’ Grace series takes place in the Ecclesville Equestrian Centre, Fintona,– which can hold up to 3000 people. The meetings will be held from June 10-12 at 8pm and are absolutely free and open to all.
Anyone who has read Angus’ book, ‘Faith Like Potatoes,’ will know he has had a life that has experienced highs and lows – including building farms from very difficult beginnings in Zambia and South Africa.
A change came when Angus gave his life to Jesus Christ. Soon he began to tell people how God had changed his life. His new faith in Jesus did not make life any easier, but it did give him peace beyond understanding and it assisted him to make sense of life.
As well as being a farmer, Angus Buchan now has an international ministry as a preacher. He and his wife believe that their faith needs to have feet. When they discovered the needs in their community, they opened their farm to 24 Zulu children who had no parents or homes.
