Information evening on Holy Land Pilgrimage
An information meeting on the 2011 Connor Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land will take place at St Patrick’s, Ballymena, on Tuesday April 13.
The Pilgrimage will take place from March 22 until April 1 2011, and the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, has asked Canon John Mann to lead the group.
The trip is being organised by McCabe Pilgrimages, London, and a representative from McCabe’s will be at the meeting, along with Bishop Alan.
The pilgrimage, launched at Connor Clergy Conference in November, has proved extremely popular. Eighty per cent of places have been reserved, so anyone interested in going is asked to contact Canon Mann on 028 9066 6644 or email john.o.mann@btinternet.com as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The information evening gets underway in the parish hall of St Patrick’s, Ballymena, at 8pm on Tuesday April 13.
