Friday June 4th 2010

Iain JamiesonIain Jamieson, an ordinand at the Theological Institute, is looking for some summer employment.

He is willing to do any kind of pastoral or secular work in return for accommodation and some remuneration.  Anyone who is able to assist Iain is asked to contact him at i.jamieson@hotmail.com

Iain was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in Shropshire in England. He studied philosophy and criminology at university before working for several years for the Probation Service where he was particularly involved in the rehabilitation of sex-offenders and as a prison drug counsellor.

His last job before a call to ministry and departing for the Church of Ireland Theological Institute at the age of 42 was supervising a staff team at a homeless hostel in Belfast.

Iain said: “I am used to working pastorally with a wide variety of people. My main theolgical interests are in the doctrine of creation and in New Testament Greek. My passion outside the Church is theatre.”
