Free grub at Summer Madness

Tuesday June 29th 2010

Summer Madness, Ireland’s largest Christian Festival, takes place at the King’s Hall, Belfast, from July 2-6.

The long running festival,  organised by the Church of Ireland Youth Department, offers a long week-end of faith building encounters in an action packed programme boasting a wide array of bands, workshops, drama and debate.

The Spirit-filled worship, the practical teaching from leading youth speakers, performances from a wide range of international and local Christian artists, and a packed fringe programme of outdoor activities, sport and entertainment continues to attract up to 2500 campers and 2,000 day visitors.

On Sunday July 4 entry to the festival is free, and this year young people from Connor are invited to come and enjoy a free gourmet ‘greasy’ burger with others from the diocese and get an update on what is happening in Connor in the next 12-18 months. For leaders this is the perfect opportunity to plug into what is coming up for young people.

‘Greasy’ burgers can be found in the Alexander Hall at Summer Madness at 5.30pm on Sunday. Be there….
