Age NI seeks volunteer peer facilitators
Age NI – the charity formed through the merger of Age Concern and Help the Aged NI – is appealing for people over the age of 50 to volunteer as peer facilitators.
The role will involve identifying older people who have a story to tell, and going along to talk to them. These could be people in care homes or living in situations of poverty or elder abuse. These stories will then be addressed by the new Age NI consultative forum which will take issues addressed to Government.
