CS Lewis expert addresses Theological Lectures at Queen’s

The Rev Dr Michael Ward.Speaker at the 2011 Church of Ireland Theological Lectures at Queen’s University, Belfast, will be the Rev Dr Michael Ward, Chaplain of St Peter’s College, Oxford.

Dr Ward is widely known for his insightful research and writings on the works of CS Lewis. He has lectured across the world on his published works The Narnia Code and Planet Narnia: The Seven Heavens in the Imagination of CS Lewis, and in October 2009 introduced an hour long documentary on the BBC on the same subject matter.

The first lecture take place on Monday February 21 when the title is ‘Imagine there’s no Heaven’ and the second on Tuesday February 22 when the lecture title is ‘Above us only sky.’ Both lectures get underway at 6pm in the David Keir Building, Room LG 115, Stranmillis Road, Belfast.
