A series of lectures takes place on Wednesday March 30 as part of the Trinity College Dublin | at Belfast public seminar series.
From 2-3pm: Michelle Moloney, Doctoral Candidate at the University of Ulster and a Graduate of TCD at Belfast’s MPhil in Reconciliation Studies, will talk on ‘Activating the Archive: The Role of Oral History Community Archives in Post Conflict Society.’
Tea and coffee will be served between 3pm-3.30pm and afterwards the speaker is Max Smith, Executive Director of Ethical Cartography TMcharts & maps for moral discourse and a Graduate of TCD at Belfast’s MPhil in Reconciliation Studies.
His topic is ‘Reconciling: Metaphor or Means to an end? Insights for humanists from the burgeoning field of neuro-psychology on the pivotal role of the brain in assessing relationship strategies.'
The seminars take place at the Irish School of Ecumenics, 683 Antrim Road, Belfast. Parking on site is limited so visitors are advised to park in side streets.
