A Day of Private Reflection

Tuesday June 14th 2011

For a fifth consecutive year, Healing  Through Remembering is promoting a Day of Reflection on Monday June 21.

The event will take place in Linen Hall Library, Belfast, from 10.30am until 2.30pm. There will be a space for reflection and an exhibition as well as occasional guest readings and music.

Healing Through Remembering has commissioned independent evaluations into previous Days of Private Reflection and each year the evaluation has recommended that the opportunity to mark the Day should again be promoted.

The Day of Reflection is a day for personal and private reflection on the conflict in and about Northern Ireland, a day to acknowledge tthe deep hurt and pain caused by the conflict, to reflect on attitudes and what people can do to make a personal commitment that such loss should never be allowed to happen again.
