You can view the programme for the weekend by clicking here.
This is an important date in the Society’s calendar. The Mid Africa Conference gives all those with a heart for the Mid Africa region an opportunity to join together for a weekend of fellowship, prayer and news.
This year the conference welcomes Canon Seth of Matana Diocese to share about the work of the church in Burundi; CMS Ireland Mission Partners Ken and Judith Finch with an update on Kiwoko Hospital; STEP Volunteer Hazel White to bring news from Shyodwe Diocese, Rwanda; and Mission Director Ronnie Briggs, who will share news about CMS Ireland. There will also be an opportunity to sample our dynamic new mission education resource, Discover!
This year, Bishop Ken Clarke of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh Diocese will be leading Bible Studies.
Introducing his seminar series for the 2011 Conference, Bishop Clarke said: “He was one of the greatest missionaries in the history of the Church. He had mission in his arteries. He loved Christ and he made Him known. He made difference. He was a Kingdom man. Learning from him will unsettle us and inspire us. Who is he? In our session together, all will be revealed!”
