Energize youth events for November

Tuesday November 8th 2011

EnergizeConnor’s Energize committee has two major events planned for November.

Come Dine with Me on Wednesday November 16 is an evening with Bishop Alan and the Energize group at the Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim, for full and part time youth workers and CYM students in the diocese.

The evening will be relaxed with great food and presents an opportunity to share the vision of Energize, talk about upcoming events and will encourage everyone to be involved in a bigger ministry in the diocese. Come Dine with Me takes place from 5pm–7pm.

On Sunday November 20, Lisburn Cathedral is the venue for the annual Energize Worship. Starting at 6pm, this is an event that is eagerly looked forward to each year.

This year the worship will be led by Bean Baker and Band. Bean, real name Andrew, works with NGM Bristol and leads worship all over the UK. Bean and the Band lead worship each month at Lisburn Cathedral’s Elevate worship event.

The Energize organisers are delighted to have Greg Fromholz as speaker at the event. Greg is the Youth Director at 3Rock Youth in Dublin.

Energize committee member Keith Neill said: “He is a gifted communicator and we are excited to hear what Greg has to say on the theme of ‘HOPE.’

All young people and leaders are welcome at the event.
