More than 250 attend Healthy Minds evening in Ahoghill

The first in a series of ‘Healthy Minds’ evenings in Ahoghill on November 9 drew a crowd of 251 people.

St Colmanell’s, Ahoghill, has joined forces with the three Presbyterian churches in the village to host the series of four evenings on the subject of developing healthy minds.

The speaker is consultant psychiatrist, Dr Andrew Collins M.R.C. Psych.

The Rev Mark Loney, rector of St Colmanell’s parish which hosted the first event, said the large attendance was ‘an excellent beginning to a clearly very pertinent subject area.’

The evenings continue on Wednesday November 16 at 8pm in 1st Ahoghill Presbyterian Church Hall ‘Dealing with Stress;’ Wednesday November 23 at 8pm in Trinity Presbyterian Church Hall ‘Dealing with Grief;’ and Wednesday November 30at 8pm in Brookside Presbyterian Church Hall ‘When hope runs out.’
