Special Service for Forgiveness

Tuesday February 21st 2012

A special service on the theme of Forgiveness has been organised by Brother David Jardine of Interdenominational Divine Healing Ministries at St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, on Monday March 5.

The service gets underway at 8pm and worship will be led by Paul and Beulah Shields of West Church Bangor.

The special speaker will be David ‘Packie’ Hamilton, pastor of a large independent church in Manchester, author of the book ‘A Cause Worth Living For,’ public speaker and a former Director of Teen Challenge Manchester.

As a former long term paramilitary prisoner, whose life was transformed following a conversion experience in January 1980, David Hamilton has many years of experience of hurt, pain and loss and has learnt how to give, ask and receive forgiveness.

Brother David Jardine of Divine Healing Ministries, said: “I learnt how to forgive a long time ago and there have been many occasions in my life when that gift has restored my peace. It is a gift available to anyone who really desires to practise it.

“This would be really helpful to many people in Northern Ireland who have been deeply hurt during the years of the Troubles.”

Personal prayer for healing and anointing with oil will be available for those who wish to receive it at this service.
