Nearly 400 have already attended Bishop’s Lent seminar
Nearly 400 people have attended the Bishop of Connor’s Lent course to date as the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy prepares for his final seminar on March 26.
In St Peter’s Parish Church, Belfast, on February 28, around 180 people heard Bishop Alan address the topic of Gospel and Culture Today while 200 attended the seminar held in Dunluce Parish Centre, Bushmills, on March 8.
The Lent Course is an integral part of Connor’s Diocesan Vision Strategy, which was launched at a worship service for clergy in the diocese in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, on February 8.
Bishop Alan’s third and final seminar for 2012 takes place in All Saints’ Parish Church, Antrim on March 26, beginning at 7.30pm.
