Choir bursaries available
The Association of Irish Choirs (AOIC) has announced the second round of the Arts Council funded Choral Bursaries Scheme.
Guidelines and application forms are both available from AOIC.ie.
The aim of this programme is to assist established choirs in accessing high quality training programmes for their singers in the areas of sight–singing, ensemble singing, musicianship and vocal production.
The scheme is also open to children and youth choirs that operate outside of the formal education system. The maximum amount that will be awarded in this round is €1500 and the closing date for applications is Friday May 11.
