Conference on Celtic Prayer
The Centre for Celtic Spirituality in Armagh is hosting a conference on Saturday June 2 from 10am to 4pm.
The speaker is Mary Fleeson, who works in the Scriptorium of Holy Island Lindisfarne, and has written beautifully illustrated books of Celtic Prayer.
In the morning she will speak about the power of the Lindisfarne Gospels and lead an art workshop based on the Celtic Knotwork found in the Lindisfarne Gospels.
In the afternoon she will talk about using the symbols of knotwork as an aid to prayer. The day will conclude with Celtic Prayer in the Anglican Cathedral.
