Trevor Douglas took up his post as Connor Diocesan Parish Development Officer on Wednesday August 1.
Trevor, 51, was previously manager of the Jethro Centre in Lurgan, He has also worked with Connor Diocese having been seconded through CREED for projects with churches in inner city Belfast.
Connor Diocesan Parish Development Officer is a new post, and Trevor’s role will be to support parishes throughout the diocese by advising on parish projects and development, facilitating training for leadership and team ministry and supporting strategic development across the diocese.
The Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, said: “Trevor’s expertise, experience and people skills will be of immense value to us all as we look to the future and the development of Connor Diocese.”
Father of two daughters, Trevor lives in Lurgan, Co Armagh, and is married to Karen.
