Course on minibus management for churches

ctaAny church which owns or hires a minibus is invited to attend a minibus management course organised by the Community Transport Association.

This takes place on October 13 at Trinity Community Venue, Lisburn, from 10am – 1pm. The cost is £60 for members or £71.00 for non members.

A CTA spokesperson said: “This three hour course is a must for any faith based group providing transport using hired or own minibuses.

“For many faith groups minibus transport is secondary to your main objectives. However this does not exempt you from the legislative requirements defined by DVA.

“During the course you will learn about the legislative requirements needed to ensure your transport is legal and safety improved.

“Included in the course is confirmation about driver licensing, vehicle licensing, cross border transport law and maintenance requirements.”
