A training seminar for leaders in churches and Christian charities in law and best practice guidelines will take place on October 25.
The seminar on recruiting and managing staff will be held in Mallusk Enterprise Park from 10am–12.30pm.
The course will cover the following:
Recruitment
Communicating your Christian ethos
Identifying the genuine occupational requirement
Drafting the job description and personnel specification
Application form and interview process
Management
Induction of new employees
Developing employee potential / performance management
Avoiding and resolving disputes.
The trainer is Mark Mason, an employment lawyer with a heart to help Christian organisations honour God in the employment relationship.
