Divine Healing Ministries Director Brother David Jardine will be leading a special service in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, on October 22 for those suffering through addiction.
The guest speaker is Jackie Burke, a former drug addict and alcoholic, who will speak about God’s healing power from addiction. Worship will be led by Drumbo Catholic Church Music Group.
There will be an opportunity to receive personal prayer and anointing with oil at this service, not just for addiction but for any condition or situation.
David said: “At this special service we will receive encouragement from Lisburn–born Jackie, who puts his survival down to divine intervention and the determined efforts of his mother, who never stopped praying that her wayward son would one day escape his life of self–destruction.
“Jackie is able to speak first–hand about the saving grace available to addicts from a merciful loving God who doesn’t give up on us even when we feel we are beyond his reach.”
David continued: “Divine Healing Ministries will gather to pray to an All Mighty God for both those suffering from addictions and for the families and friends who uphold and care for addicts at this special service.
“We know God knows every circumstance and path that has taken us away from him, but he waits with arms outstretched to receive us back.”
The service on Monday October 22 begins in St Anne’s at 8pm.
