Latest Connor Connections now available

Connor Connections Autumn 2012The latest issue of Connor Connection is now available free to all parishes in Connor Diocese.

The award winning magazine* has a bright new look, and the front cover features the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, chatting with Agnes Young, a parishioner of St Stephen and St Luke, at the Mid Belfast rural deanery Vision Strategy meeting in September.

Articles inside include reports on a trip to Kajiado Diocese, Kenya, by a team from St Paul’s, Lisburn, who completed the building of a church there; the ordination of new priests in the diocese; a wine tasting evening in Antrim Parish; Belfast’s Cathedral’s first ever pop–up restaurant, and All Saints’ Craigyhill’s successful flower festival.

There is also an interview with high–flying Daniel Gill, who has been supported by Connor Mission Support Fund as he trains in Australia to be a pilot with the Mission Aviation Fellowship.

The Rev Mercia Malcolm, Vicar of Carnmoney, reflects on a fruitful sabbatical during which she undertook a study project relating to the life of Belfast born writer CS Lewis.
