Mayoral reception for Magheragall Parish Church

The Mayor of Lisburn, Alderman William Leathem and the Mayoress, Kathleen Leathem pictured in the Mayor's Parlour at a Mayoral Reception for members of Magheragall Parish Church. In the Council Chamber.The Mayor of Lisburn, Alderman William Leathem and the Mayoress, Kathleen Leathem hosted a reception at the Mayor’s Parlour, Lagan Valley Island, for members of Magheragall Parish Church on Monday November 26.

The Mayor and Mayoress, are members of the church, and the Mayor’s Chaplain is the Rev Nicholas Dark, rector of Magheragall.

Alderman Leatham welcomed their guests who included the rector and his wife Bronwen, churchwardens Patricia Evans and Roberta Campbell, and organist Margaret Nelson.

During the evening the Mayor presented his Chaplain with a gift to record an event the council had held at Magheragall Parish Church to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
